Val Thorens officially kicks off the ski season

promotions ski val thorensThe highest ski station in Europe opened its pistes yesterday 24 November to officially mark the start of the 2006/7 ski season.

Val Thorens is recommended as a good station for children as the slopes are not too far from the village and there’s plenty of activities in the village.

There are some good ski promotions for Val Thorens on lastminute.com and nice Val Thorens informational pages on voyages-sncf.com from which you can reserve somewhere to stay.

Vous n’avez peut être pas envie d’investir dans une tenue complète, et normalement vous louez vos skis à la station…mais vous avez toujours peur que votre taille n’existe plus une fois que vous êtes arrivé à la station (surtout pendant la haute saison quand la station est complète).
